Title or Location: The Same Path
Oil on canvas, 20x26. The painting depicts an older Buddhist monk holding hand a young mentor walking together to the bright horizon where they can find the simplicity and peace in this life. When I painted with this theme I felt also serenity and calm to soothe my mind. A beautiful therapeutic experience for the artist.

Title or Location: 'Ode To Joy'
I am a self taught artist who took up painting during the COVID-19 pandemic, when I went back to medicine to work as a front line A&E doctor. I am hugely inspired by Isabella plantation in Richmond park close to where I live. This was the inspiration for this painting, with its beautiful waterways, Still Pond and Thompsons pond. The painting took 5 hours to paint and it took me down memory lane, reminding me of the importance that life is oh so short and fragile. The aim of the painting
